Journal History

Intellecta: Journal of Education, AI and Society was established under the auspices of Luminary Global Education, a foundation dedicated to advancing the quality of non-formal education in Indonesia within a global framework. The journal emerged from the foundation’s strategic commitment to fostering scholarly engagement and intellectual discourse in response to the rapid transformation of education in the digital age. Recognizing the growing influence of artificial intelligence and technological innovation on educational systems and social structures, the foundation initiated the journal as a formal academic platform to facilitate rigorous research, critical analysis, and interdisciplinary dialogue.

Since its inception, Intellecta: Journal of Education, AI and Society has been positioned as a scholarly forum addressing the intersection of education, artificial intelligence, and societal change as central challenges of the contemporary global era. The journal was founded to contribute substantively to academic publication and knowledge production by disseminating empirical studies, theoretical inquiries, and policy-oriented analyses. Through this initiative, Luminary Global Education seeks to strengthen Indonesia’s intellectual presence in global academic conversations while promoting research that is ethically grounded, socially responsive, and oriented toward sustainable educational transformation.
