The phenomenon of dual-career families in Indonesia presents significant challenges for couples, particularly in the nursing profession, which entails high workloads and intense emotional pressure. Workloads and stress that are not managed effectively have the potential to trigger domestic conflicts, which can decrease marital satisfaction. This study aims to determine the relationship between emotion regulation and marital satisfaction among nurses in dual-career families. The method employed is a quantitative correlational approach. research subjects consisted of 258 married nurses aged 25–45 whose spouses are also employed. Data were collected using the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire to measure emotion regulation and the ENRICH Marital Satisfaction scale to measure marital satisfaction. Analysis using the Spearman's Rho correlation test yielded a correlation coefficient of 0.465 with a significance value of (p) < 0.001. This demonstrates a significant positive relationship between emotion regulation and marital satisfaction. The findings of this study indicate that the higher the emotional regulation ability possessed by a nurse, the higher the level of perceived marital satisfaction. These findings emphasize that strengthening emotion regulation skills in nurses is crucial in helping to maintain harmony and the quality of marital relationships in dual-career families.
